When they sent me 2 new locks I had them both...

When they sent me 2 new locks I had them both keyed alike. That gave me 4 keys, now I spread them everywhere!

Also, I ended up replacing both striker plates with the new ones as the original...

The physically look exactly the same, only they are entirely made of metal, not with the plastics bits that the old one contained.

Yep, the replacement locks are completely different than the ones they replaced. The keyless feature now works flawlessly!
