UPDATE, Because of the cold, I've been back and forth between city and onboard tank and pump. Today I forgot to close the bypass valve and the tank didn't back fill at all. Maybe I'll get lucky here....

After reading another forum, it appears the backflow preventer is part of the pump. I might also be able to use the winterizing valve to prevent it until it can be fixed.

Hi, haven't been here in a while. Been on city water for most of two weeks and it seems my water tank has now back filled and coming out the vent. We are here till April and would like to fix this...
