I thought I would feel then need to have the screen back, but to be honest we just open the windows when we get that urge.

It's on the outside. I don't remember why, just seemed to work best that way.

We left the hinges on the door frame, so there were no hinges in the way when we installed the film.

I did a temporary job with that shrinkwrap storm door window stuff. That was 2 years ago :) Still perfect.
