I would like to say I go start my generator every 30 days, but its more like 90 days just because I'm stored 90 miles away.

Mine is the same as Dave's. It sits around 30 days at a time and no issues. I only remove my cables over the winter.

The way Redwood does it, the hydraulics remain active. Not sure what the reasons were, but many are rewiring that so the battery switch is a true "off"

Ya some of the guys rewired the terminals on the bus bar behind the batteries to make it a true battery switch.

Everytime I think about doing that I'm out of time. Put ours away and just...
