No-no, that's just how mine ends up everytime after travel. In fact I wonder if it actually pulls on the chain hard enough to turn it one. I guess someday I will find out when I plug in the coach...

My fan is self locking. When we travel the chain wraps around one of the blades and locks it down, and I have to get up and unravel it to use it :D
