I didn't go under there, but normally it's just adhesive. On our house remodel, all our sinks were cast iron and they just used adhesive to attach to both granite and marble. they did secure them...

Mine didn't sag, but it leaked in that spot because it had broken the seal. I just fixed it the other day with some clear adhesive.

Could be worse, like the RV early version of 1 piece countertops and sinks made of fiberglass We had in our 2007. Coffee would stain that thing.
