IMHO there's no where on a RV that I would ever use regular silicone caulk.
Dicor on the roof, Geocell most every where else.

Yes!
Fortunately they are easily replaced, remove a screw on either end & it slides down off a plastic track, slide new on, put screws back in. But the goo left is a bit more difficult to remove.
