The only use I have for WD40 is on stuck bolts, not for use on anything plastic or rubber, don't even carry it anymore. The silicone works just as well/better anyway & dirt doesn't stick to it.

Yes! It's a struggle every time I try to connect the quick coupler, then finally it just snaps in, once I get connected it doesn't leak. Mine was changed out under warranty, they had the wrong hose...
