And unless you did as M&A did & get the upgrades...

And unless you did as M&A did & get the upgrades you will get the same problems in about a dozen other makes & models that all use the same equipment.

Is there not some way to drill/bypass the anti...

Is there not some way to drill/bypass the anti sail part of the door or just replace the hinges with the pre '15 hinges?? What a royal PITA!!
