Use some paraffin wax/candle on the bolt & catch...

Use some paraffin wax/candle on the bolt & catch occasionally, works great.

I use a little candle type wax on the striker...

I use a little candle type wax on the striker plate & latch, much less mess than grease, & spray with silicone.
