Also Ford has to remove the cab to work on the engine, so once the warranty runs out labor cost is exorbitant to access the engine before the work can even begin.

I agree 40kb, if I drive by a Ford dealer I never look back. As I've said before, drove numerous Ford's while working, enough to know I won't own one, but someone has to buy them.
