While they are putting the vent in, maybe they could install a small fan to blow the heat up. Something like a pancake fan may work, and there should be 12V. to the closet light. Just a thought.

I don't know if cold would be a real issue in the closet, but if it was I would never put any kind of heater in there. As they say s____t happens and as a retired fireman, that is kind of asking for...
