Each Inverter has a bypass switch internally... Mine went bad last year and I had to replace the inverter..

Once the RV is plugged into shore power, the bypass...

I turn on the Inverter and just leave it on all...

I turn on the Inverter and just leave it on all the time.... without the inverter, the fridge will not operate when in transit.
