I've only seen one computer on a car or truck that was accurate and that's in my diesel Volkswagen .......and aparently they weren't accurate to the EPA. What a shame but I'm not going to let them...

It depends on the site while camping. I've left mine hooked up several time when just staying over night. As far as fuel, the wind and hills will have an effect on how far you can drive on a tank...
