I think that's a smart move. There are any number of BandAids that can be added, but if you follow some of those post, issues still pop up and by the time you add up the cost of all those BandAids...

The suspension have come a little farther than...

The suspension have come a little farther than the OEM Electric Brakes. That setup was used back when all cars and trucks were 6V systems with generators.
