Fifth Wheel Grease vs Plastic Disc

I have seen some people using a plastic disc vs old-fashioned grease on their fifth wheel hitch. Are these as good as old-fashioned grease and what are the pros & cons?

I have a 2018 Ford F250 & wanted to get tips on using the engine brake as you are descending hilly areas. Mine has a manual & auto mode. This may also apply to GM & Dodge trucks.

Where exactly is the rear trunk door? Is it outside or inside? The back of our unit is just the trailer body. There is a ladder, but nothing else. There is no trunk door. Maybe that was an option...

Ours doesn't have that option. Since the key looks like a bin compartment key, it may be that you get the key automatically even though you don't have that option. That would explain the mystery key.

It is a 2014. May not have a rear trunk. Where is your rear trunk? Is this something obvious or is it hidden? Key does look like it's for an outside-type bin. Still looking.

Storage bin compartments doors
Level jacks door
Floor safe
