DVD Player Upgrade and max fan for bath,

Just got this 36 RE, a immaculate trade in, It was a redwood upgrade by previous owner it is mint inside and out

have a few minor issues

Has any one had experience upgrading dvd tuner entertainment center this has a oem that looks to have speaker wire connections or plugs in the back it is not working right maybe a newer one or upgrade is in order

i have a big toshiba tv not sure what model yet? will have to pull the books,

also is it hard to install a max fan in the bath can it be done from inside/or outside mount the el cheapo oem bath fan is truely annoying noisey etc when running,

third i am gonna try to replace a broken bedroom drawer slide it is out of whack alignment etc they replaced one allready at the dealership i will make a home depot run for a 11" slide see if it will fit? then call dealer during the week, as i am working a full schedule ,

Any info or advise is appreciated

thanks Karl b

I'd recommend buying a pair of slides (actually think they may be packaged in pairs) if your going to the trouble to repair the drawer. Too bad you not here (in Arizona?) as I'd give you a pair.
The fan replacement will be from inside & outside with the caulk removal on the roof being the biggest PITA of the job.
The DVD upgrade should be a plug & play other than the birds nest of speaker wires that aren't marked & a 50% chance they are hooked to the wrong speakers anyway.

You might check to see if their is a optic cable from the tv to amp, you wont get any sound from the tv without it. That is the only way we could get a signal to the surround sound amp. At least that is what I found in ours. Good luck

True about the Optical cable to the surround sound unit. Also need to set up the TV using the remote for speaker preference. Sounds much better using the surround sound obviously. But I also understand that Karl is missing the remote for his 40" Toshiba and is having a hard time using the buttons on the side of the TV for set up changes.

I took our stock blu ray player and moved it to the bedroom. Above the tv in the living room, i installed an AV receiver in the left cabinet, a standalone blu ray player in the middle, a Western Digital media player, and a Roku 3 media player in the middle cabinet. Hooked up the ceiling speakers to the AV receiver and system works great.
