Clothes smelling sour after they have been washed

I have a Splendide stackable washer and dryer. Lately my clothes have been smelling sour after they have been washed. Does anyone have a solution to the problem. I thought about running a cycle with bleach to see if that would correct the issue.

Thank You
Lew

There is a product called Affresh that is supposed to cure the smell. You run it through a load with nothing but the tablets. Also check the gasket area for mold or buildup.

I always leave the camper washer door cracked open when not in use and so far I haven't had the smell, but we do use Affresh at home.

On ours there's a drain cycle that the DW uses after doing all the laundry which completely drains the washer otherwise there's always a few gallons left in any front loading machine. Also she has a small fan she puts in the machine for an hour or so afterwards, so far no smell.
You also may want to check the anode rod in the water heater as it can cause a rotten egg smell in the hot water.

We leave the door open slightly and put a small fan in there also. We have not noticed any smell either.

We have the front loaders at home and usually leave the door open a bit after having 2 or 3 appliance companies out that say the front loaders have differing degrees of drain issues...

Not sure about the rv washer as we have only used it enough to test it when we first got the rv, but on the front loaders at home there is a drain hidden in the bottom folds of the door gasket that sometimes gets stopped up and we pull it back to wipe it down and clean up the area...

Another thing to do after each wash is to take a hand towel and absorb all of the water that gets entrapped within the door seal. For the damage done you can also use some of the new scent beads that go in the wash.
