If I was ordering a new RL, I would have them add a window in the hallway between the slides for more light and especially cross ventilation.

That would be nice. Even a transom window over the slides would be nice like they used to have. I wonder if the flat roof design allows for that now. But in retrospect, that might mess up the folks that like slide toppers.

A transom window near the ceiling or over a slide would be a deal killer for us, looked at a few SOB with that type of window, scratched them of the list right away !!!

You guys forgot 1 step before drilling, send the DW on an errand til your finished or else dont say "oh sh##" while your drilling. Don't ask how I know!!

Actually I as asking Bob how come he didn't like the Transom windows - You must of snuck in there before I finish typing.

When I want to close the shades and make it DARK inside, do not want to mess with a window that is that high up.
Plus here in the south all that would come through that window is TOO Much Sun and Heat.
We just never liked them on any 5er we saw, maybe ok for a weekender but not for a fulltimer.

Ah, I didn't think about the heat, was thinking more of the light.
