New Feature: Recommended Articles

We wanted to let you know about the new links at the bottom of the home page of the forum (coming later today) and some cool news.

Over the years as the forum has grown, some additional websites have joined the Social Knowledge (parent company) family. Most are RV and recreation related and include some amazing resources. RV Park Reviews.com and iRV2.com are a couple of my personal favorites. Recently RV Life Magazine joined the party and now at the bottom of the page you will see links to articles that may be of interest.

You'll have to scroll to the bottom of the page to find them. If you find them interesting scroll often, if not we understand and have placed them so they won't be disruptive to regular forum browsing. RVlife is a venerable publication and we are excited to add this resource. Articles cover a variety of topics including maintenance, travel and both new a vintage RVs. Happy surfing.

Really? Who gives a rats azz if it's something that is of interest to you. It's like the T.V.; you don't have to watch it if you don't wanna'.

The layout is reminiscent of some standard ads at places like yahoo but in our case these are not for pay per click revenue. We are simply trying to showcasing the articles from RV Life Magazine here on the forums and think that they are of interest to forum members. The intent is to get readers here to go over there and read the articles.

It doesn't matter what price park you're in, 99.9% of rv parks wifi is pretty much non existent. If you absolutely must have good wifi you need to furnish your own.

That's been our experience also. We have our own "hotspot wifi"... just have to watch our data usage.

As Danny and bob said - price of park doesn't matter. I can only think of 3 that we've been in that had decent wifi and even those were spotty at times.

Have a Verizon hotspot for that reason .

Janet -
Don't know if this is something that can be fixed...
Let's say you read an article, you like it, you want to come back to it but it has been replaced by another article(s). In this case, would you need to navigate back to RV Life and hunt through their articles, or is there some kind of article database that I'm not seeing?

There is a search function on the RV Life page in the top right corner. You can search by topic or keywords from the article and should find it fairly easily this way.
