We purchased a 2012 Redwood 36RL in April and are finding the area over the stairs and into the bedroom very dark. We are wondering if anyone has a solution to this. We are considering adding a sun pipe. Any ideas?
We have a 2012 36RL and have 2 lights in the hall above the stairs. They give plenty of light when we have them on, but don't need them most of the time. There is a switch for them on the side of the cabinet at the bottom of the stairs and also one in the bedroom.

Ours is the same as Roger's, but very seldom use them.

I think what they're referring to, is that the Redwood has so many lights throughout the coach that this area around the stairs is the darkest. For me there's plenty of light but it could be a problem for some folks.
I do notice while cleaning the floor that the corners are a little dark in that area. It could be because with the lights above you, you're always walking in a shadow.
Speaking of lighting,we have a 2013 36FL and the lights in the bathroom are not bright enough when using the mirror, the frosted lenses are hindering the light in that area,so I took them off (much more light)now my question is,does anyone know who makes these lights and if clear lenses are available thank you
The 36RL is a dark coach - with the lack of windows on the street side, the opaque covers over the vents, dark woods and flooring, and the dual awnings that block most of the sun, we find we have the lights on all the time. I just figured it was nature of the beast.
