Yeah the attic went away with this option. We really like the open feeling not having the two walls but would have like the attic.
I had seen you got the Mor-Ryde before we ordered ours, but the dealer held firm with the "not possible" line.

As I noted, I didn't even involve the Dealer with the Mor/ryde. I made a deal through the RW GM and paid Mor/ryde directly for the install, leaving RW out of it other that dropping the unit off and picking it up when done.

I would have gladly done that. I even approached RW directly before going to the dealer, along with a quite a few other tech questions. They were generally quite helpful on everything but that topic was just ignored.

I think as has been suggested a few times, Seems RW is in so DEEP with Lippert that they don't want to ruffle any feathers. Mine was a trial run and pretty much a "We do it or there's no deal".

I would say real deep, which is too bad. Goes back to the Falcon FIT concept and whatever commitments were made with Lippert to market that way. Don't be surprised to see the new LCI retractable awnings soon in lieu of the Carefree.

I've recently seen several rvs with LCI awnings & they look exactly like the Carefree, did LCI buy out CF?
