Now this is cool !!!

My Stepson asked to swap his Raptor for my F-350 for a week - he's towing a 4 wheeler to Colorado for a hunting trip and, while nice, his raptor won't tow what he needs to tow.

So, while hooking up the trailer I noticed an air stem in my rear bumper !
Had my Airlift bags and wirelessONE compressor installed at Camping World LAST YEAR and remember asking for them to add one, but forgot about it and they listened to me!

For a test, set the WirelessOne to 80 psi and used a tire gauge to check psi there and walla - 80 psi !!!

just need to get a hose and connector !!!

Now to test to see about filling up large tires and all, but at any rate seems like the bags 'act' as a tank...

I just will be careful to not run the compressor for long periods and will probably only use it in an emergency...

but liking it so far

That's exactly where I installed mine - just in case the compressor goes kaput on the road.

Never thought about using it as an air source.

I assume they just Tee'd off one of the air lines? I might consider this. It would be nice to be able to air the tires up to towing pressure easily.

Not sure what they did, but that sounds right -
now I have to play with connectors to get an air supply...
and have to spend the week driving this:

Duh !! Thanks John ! Mine is hooked up the same as yours and Brads and it never occurred to me either that it could also be used as a tire or other filler.
Now to make up a hose assembly .........

Many thanks Just another example of the info and discoveries we all share so willingly. (And also some of our mistakes "........... LOL )
