New Tow Truck

Just though I would add a picture of our new Sport Chassis M-2 106 Hauler.
All I can say is boy what a HUGE difference from the Chevy 3500 dually to this. Was looking at a new F450 with hauler body but Im glade I didn’t. As for our plans this is surely will be the safest and best way to go.

Chuck that sure looks like a sweet ride. We almost bought one of those before we ended up going to the Entegra.

Lookin' good, Chuck. Will you be providing ride-alongs at the Rally this Summer?

Are you planning to be back in San Antonio anytime soon?

Thanks!! This is the best pickup that I have ever owned glade we went this way. Not sure about making the rally this year as it depends on where I'm working at the time and if I can take the time off from the job. But if we do make it rides will be avilable for sure. But.. be aware that it could prove to be costly and I won't be held responsible for your future actions.

I am also looking at a Sportchassis being I am thinking my next coach will be the Luxe or an Elite Suite - of course that depends on what upgrades and changes Redwood does for the 2017 model year. That is sure one awesome looking tow vehicle!! Enjoy!! I also look forward to hearing your thoughts about the truck after you have had a chance to tow your coach a few thousand miles with it.

Nice!! The RW actually looks small compared to the truck.. I bet traveling will be a lot more pleasurable. Congratulations!

We’ll I tell you Sport Chassis has some pretty good financing options out there. Not much more then what my dually was just longer term. Interest rate was pretty good also. If your really interested let me know and Ill give you my name and numbers and it will help both of us out. The other plus of the Sport Chassis is the used rate of these trucks. They are holding really good.

When I was looking at them, I was able to find some brand new trucks that were 2 years old and they were offering some pretty good deals. The dual air ride seats were a big plus for me. Also knowing that the truck weighed as much as the trailer (or close to it) made the tug of war a lot easier.

We were seriously considering pulling a jeep behind a Mobile Suit and pulling all of it with the Sport Chassis.

Nice truck!
May you have many miles of good travels!
We got our back seat set up for the dogs. They love all the room and they can look out the windows while laying down.
The only drawback to these is my navigator sits high enough to see there is nothing but air for a long way down on the other side of the guard-rail

Hi Dave
This is a New 2012 it had 6300 miles never titled. Demo. So I have 2 year factory warranty as if it had 0 miles on it.
These trucks tow GREAT!
Oh check out the Sport Chassis face book and Web sites as they asked for permission to use a picture of our setup on there sites. Made us smile!

Don
I think I spoke to you just after you bought yours about how you oiked it an all. That was a year or so ago. You had any trouble with it? Still loving it?

I know the dually tow great. And i had my dually set up very good and was really comfortable tow the coach with it but boy I'll tell ya once you tow with a bigger truck it's so much more relaxing easier less stressful on both you and your truck. It's like driving you car down the road with no worries at all. And the views WOW you get to see everything and yes its a loooong way down on some of those raised off ramps.
Just a very nice ride towing. And a pretty good one bob tailing.
The first 36 hours of owning it we went 1500 miles from factory to FL bobtailing. Washed it and hooked up to big Red and towed 475 miles to the next job in GA.

Ed - I'm a little biased because I have one, but take a good look at the Comfort Ride Hitch.. their hitch is recommended by both NuWa and Continntal Coach. The factory NuWa demos trucks are built with them. If you call Comfort Ride you'll get Rick, the owner. Please tell him I sent you . Super hitch and the ride is unbelievable.

Piper Guy I am trying find out if I actually need a air ride hitch because my truck is all air ride. I have had people that install the air ride hitches tell me no . redwood also said no but I am still looking for answers

Ed - the hitch doesn't use airbags. It has polyurethane cushions that do the shock and movement absorption.
I can tell you that 2 of the hitches we sold at Hershey went on medium duty Freightliner haulers. One was a Sportchassis and the other a Mountain Master. Ricks personal hauler is a Volvo 630. I would suggest you call him. Great guy and will give you a straight answer.
Don't have the number handy but website is. comfortridehitch.com
