Say it isn't so !!!
if you look fat next to THAT behemoth.... no sense in trying !

Good luck with it as I am looking at a used one myself @ mhsrv near me, have friends with one and another with a phaeton circa 2009 - both new enough for a lot of the bells and whistles, but still in good condition...

this venture tired me of paying for and ordering a new unit and having to return it

Dave, congratulations on both. We saw an Entegra at Myrtle Beach back in Sept. & if we would/could win the lottery I'm fairly certain DW (of 42 years) would have one. Sorry to hear you are leaving our group, our lose, new forums gain!

Congratulations on your accomplishments. I will miss you even though we haven't met in person, I feel you are a valued friend.
As they say in the Navy "fair winds and following sea"!
ps. I still have a bottle of "Johnny Walker" with you name on the side. Hope to sometime share it with you.

Congratulations, Dave & Ginny! As newbies, we will especially miss your input. After struggling with the Class A vs Fifth Wheel decision myself, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how they compare in actual use. Good luck, happy trails! Kent & Mindy

Dave,

All the best to you and Ginny. My hope is that you and your family enjoy good health and safe travels for many years to come.
Congrats on the beautiful coach...
You will love Canada... it is a beautiful place full of "mostly" friendly and polite folks... lots to see... Saskatewan is my favorite... so flat you can watch your dog run away for 3 days...

Dave, just curious, did you sell the Beauty & the Beast or trade them in?

Thanks Brad, we're counting the days now. This Friday we'll head to Ohio and spend our last night in the Redwood (it's already there). Then Saturday we'll go through a 3 -4 hour PDI (Entrgra is really strict about the PDI).

Canada is on our short list for sure. I've spent some time up there in my trucking years but not since and Ginny really wants to see it. We're going to get our passports and head up that way one of these days. Maybe I'll open a magazine up there.

Stay in touch through email and someday we'll meet up around a campfire.

Traded them both in. Here's why.....In Illinois, we have to pay taxes on the difference between the trade and the purchase. I wouldn't gain much with the truck. I had someone try to buy my truck for 2k more but I wouldn't have came out ahead when considering the taxes I'd have to pay. On the Redwood I took it in the shorts but I justified it due to the discount I got on the coach. All the extras on the Redwood like the disk brakes 2nd ac, 2nd awning, slide in slide and the full body paint.....didn't mean anything to the dealers. I fought a good fight but still didn't get all of what I wanted.

Geez Dave! I'm away for a couple of weeks and you slip this news under the door! Cindy and I are very happy for you. We've got our eyes on an upgrade as well. But since we're younger than you and Ginny, it will be a few more years coming.

All the best to you folks and we sincerely wish you the best in this new chapter. Have you thought about what toad you'll be hitching to the rear of that beauty?
