I noticed it's kind of weird seeing Christmas stuff being stocked on the shelves BEFORE Halloween! I guess the retailers are gun ho to start the holiday shopping season since Thanksgiving is so late this year. It looks like each year for the next 5 years it will fall one day earlier so I guess this is something we will have to get used to?

I noticed some Christmas goods in stores at the height of shoppers purchasing school supplies in August.

It seems a little early however gets one thinking about the coming holidays, travel and preparing to winterize our RV's for those of us that are home bound (at least for now!!).

Happy Holidays (Thanksgiving and Winter Solstice) to all from your heathen friends. I am so thankful for this forum and for those who take the time to give their time and knowledge. Hoping all enjoy family, friends and quiet time during the holiday season and wishing you all the best for the new year.

I was thinking the same thing! It's not even Thanksgiving yet. Then I noticed the post were from Dec 2012.

Makes more sense.
