Quick check in to all our RW friends. Travels are going well and no problems with the new rig except the cost of fuel Grandkids have a blast!!
A few months back we went over a very interesting road (rt. 211) through the Blue Ridge Mountains from the west side to the east. Not sure if I should have even been on that rt but it was definitely fun except Char kept saying we should not be on this road. Engine brake had its workout.

A few on here have some old toys so thought I would post a picture, but we sold the last of our toys to my cousin. At least it stayed in the family, but it was not doing any good just sitting in a garage with cover on it.

Well, not sure why it is upside down 1937 Plymouth pickup PT-50 all original. Even the flat 6 under the hood. I could put my cup of coffee on the head, and it would sit there since it ran so smooth.

my wife's father died when she was 7... he was building a 32 Ford ( again ) and had just completed it a month before he died.. His buddies got it painted and carried him to the back seat for 1 last ride before he died...

It sat in the garage for the next 10 years until myself and my now bro in law got the bugs out from sitting..

added seat belts to the rear, tuned it up, replaced radiator, ball joints ...

it had a Cadillac 472 series V8 with almost 400 HP... He dropped it in back in the early 70's just before he left us.

It truly was a bad ass car !! we got busy, neither me or my bro in law had a garage to store or time to work n it with kids on the way so my mother in law sold it.. It re surfaced a few years ago when we found it in a garage not 5 miles from us, we all went to see it as it was loading the next day for Florida. 6 months later we got a call from al old family friend that said they think their kid just purchased the old car...

Sure enough it was it !!! they are an hour from my mom in law in Florida and she goes to the car shows again and sits with the car ( and new owner )
