Yes, Dave we've done that several times, as the Redwood RV Park in Crescent City is one of our favorite parks. You won't believe the people who stop and say "Oh, look, a Redwood in the Redwoods". The last 10 miles are narrow and windy, but nothing hair-raising. Beautiful drive.
