Tornado, Hail and 8" Rain in Norman

Not large hail maybe quarter size, but a ton of it. Developed a leak in BR slide. Guess I am climbing on top today.

Picture is from my daughters where we were in storm shelter.
I-35 was closed for over 4 hours with power lines on the interstate.

Calling for more thru Saturday.

Ron ~ let us know what you find, but with that scenario I'm thinking the rubber seals were simply overwhelmed and couldn't handle the sheer volume of water and wind.

Glad you're all ok

Rob - I'm a boat Captain and headed to Port Canaveral next weekend to bring a boat to Annapolis MD. Looked at weather this week and figured someone above likes me. If the trip was this week we'd be sitting in the Carolinas making friends with a bartender. Lol

Was thinking of Ron last night.
Ron, (Titan Guy) if you're on the forum, let us know how you're doing in Oklahoma.

Still in Norman. So far so good on the weather. Hail busted skylight in bathroom but no other apparent damage. The leak was from 2 area's, the back of the washer and in the wall around water shut off valve for washer. Got rid of washer & dryer. Tried to plug hose using hose clamp but hose clamps won't hold without leaking. Headed to Lowe's to get Pex tool today. Slide floor is dried out with only minor water damage.

glad to here you rode out the storm. That is the one downfall to having a washer in the coach. when they start leaking they can do serious damage to all the wood. Not like a cement basement floor with a drain beside it. On my previos trailers i would change ot the vent covers and skylight every 3 yrs. It is amazing that in this day and age that the uv rays can do so much damage to these, They get very brittle. I was parked under an acorn tree in a park when one fell and went through the vent cover. Will catch up with you when you come back out west

Pex Crimper sealed the hose on the plug. No more water leaks!
