Reagan & Nixon Libraries

We are planning an exploration of Southern California in late Feb, early Mar 2022. On the itinerary are the Reagan and Nixon Libraries. I've been looking at possible Campgrounds in the area to stay and that would let us take in both libraries without moving. I see from Google they are about 90 miles apart. Does anyone have some experience at staying down in the area and places that might be good to stay in or to avoid? We are a bit concerned about security, so if anyone has some experience or tips to share we would like to know. Thanks in advance.

Not a lot of parks in that area... I have stayed here: https://www.campgroundreviews.com/re...campground-463 before - nice location and quite close to the Nixon library. Further drive to the other...
