New Morryde product I have

Gang, I was watching an Instagram video last week on Instagram. It was a small walk through of Morryde with Gary,,

I saw a product that looked awesome so I reached out and Gary sent me one ( paid for it) to try it out... No name yet, no packaging yet..

It is a cord holder.... It is thinner gauge sheet metal, that had a magnet in the middle.. You wrap the cord around it when setting up camp and it stays protected and easy to use.. I really like it....

Joe, it's a Turtle. Hold it up and see if it doesn't look like a Turtle.
We got one along with the new rear stabilizer that inserts into the rear receiver with two adjustable arms to hit the ground then a ratchet strap that attach to each foot and you crank it up tight and tends to take the wiggle out of the back end.

Thats funny Michelle, Gary first called it a turtle on the video, but when we were talking on he phone he said he didn't know the official name as of yet... Either way, I really do like it !

As far as the rear stabilizers go, Do they work well? I was thinking about them but usually mount my flag pole older in the hitch... May do away with the flag if the stabilizers wok that well....

Joe

I've used the stabilizer for the last couple of weeks and it does help, will know more when we setup for 6 months in Florida. I'm looking to buy a Double Receiver so I can have the stabilizer and our flag pole mount.

Got both several weeks ago as I had an appointment to have everything checked and bearings packed. Had one sheer spring that was split, not real bad but had it replaced while everything was apart. Not bad for 6 years and 50K miles.
Gary is a great Salesman

And as for the dual receivers, they are common with MHs to carry bikes and still pull their Toad. Best price I've found is with Harbor Freight.

Thanks Michelle, brain fart on my end.. I have seen those as well but not sure they will work?

Looking the the Morryde stabilizer, it shoots out 6-8 inches, the flag pole would HAVE to be on top receiver and I am not sure that is enough distance from top to bottom to support the flag pole>?? The pole would have too much torque in windy conditions, with only a little bit of pole sticking out the bottom of the holder, resting on the top of the stabilizer...

I think I'll wait and see how you make out first !

Joe - do the BAL 30” heavy duty stabilizers. They crank up or down easily and coach is solid as a rock. Barely visible when retracted and bolt to frame.

Thanks for those pics Vaughan..

I am not sure which road I want to take yet... Had the crank up style additional on my old Montego Bay.. This Redwood has the axles further forward which gives me some additional rear bounce

Call Mor/ryde and ask to speak to Gary Wheeler, he can hook you up with just about anything Mor/ryde, and he's a hell of a nice guy.
I've been dealing with him for over 10 years.

Thanks Guys, I know but just haven't gotten to Harbor yet as we were traveling the last couple of weeks and no Harbor Freights near.
Right now I've got more important issues getting a replacement spare for a Sailun Tire that decided to remove the inner rib of tread.
