Nevada highway 95

Anyone traveled Nevada state highway 95 north from Las Vegas towards Reno? We are heading to southeast Washington & then to Seattle/Tacoma area & the interstates look like the long way around.

We have taken that route in our old MH a few times. It was fine little bumpy at times but we made just fine. It has been about two years since we last took the route.

Thanks!! The only problem I could see is rv parks (decent ones anyway) are scarce as we typically don't drive that far in a day so needed something about half way.

You can stay at Whiskey Flats in Hawthorne. Last time we were ther nice park with plenty of room. I checked rv park reviews and it is still there and rated 8.5 stars with reviews listed in April 2015

I just drove down from 395 to 95 this past Friday. The road was fine. I was not towing our RW, as we were returning from Sacramento to Desert National Wildlife Refuge just outside of Vegas. Check the weather report before you make the trek. We are suppose to have 50-60mph wind gusts tomorrow.

I always stay in Beatty and stick it out until Hawthorne or Reno. There is a really nice RV park in Reno. That's a very easy drive for the most part.

We drove home on the 95 from Yuma to Reno, as part of our route home to BC this March. We thought the 95 was scenic and a nice change from the more travelled routes. We pulled our Redwood 36rl, stopping overnight at Wineridge RV Resort in Pahrump and at the horse staging area adjacent to the Bogard Lassen County rest area along hwy 44 northwest of Susanville, Ca.
Beautiful drive and bare dry roads all the way back to BC, Canada in mid March this year.

Thanks EnL, just don't like any surprises while towing can't turn these around in less than an acre.
