Manasses, Virginia

Leaving Tallahassee in the morning, first stop Jeckll Island, Georgia. A stop in South and North Carolina's before we arrive at Bull Run RV Park.

Sounds like you might be going right on through but if your plan is to stay at the Jeckll Island CG, I thing 36' is max and it is well overhung with trees. We squeaked in with a 38' MH but were rubbing trees on the height.
Just beautiful and bring your bikes if you have them. Some of the best bike trails we have been on!

There's another beautiful rv park there in Brunswick Georgia as well, we've stayed at it several times, I'll look it up & post the name. I agree with Steve, we looked at Jeykll & I wouldn't take my RW there.

There is also this great rescue facility for injured turtles. Well worth a visit if you have the time.
If you have time stop in SC near Myrtle Beach and visit Brookgeen Gardens. Another amazing place!

When I am traveling north on I 95, I stop at Georgia Coastal RV Park in Brunswick GA, nice park, easy in and out, two RV Friendly Fuel Stations right there too since I usually do not unhitch for just a overnight stop

We are at Coastal Georgia now, got in at 11:30. Don't like Jekyll campground, but we like all else. I like Skidaway and Savannah a lot better.

Just looked at what I had wrote and meant to say we hated the campground but as you stated everything else was great.
The CG was not anywhere near our standards but we were there so dealt with it but we won't be back anytime soon. We had more tree parts on our roof after that visit then anywhere else.

Cherry Hill is great. Love how the bus stops at campground and brings you to Metro station. Don't even need the duallie.

Take the night bus tour that picks up at the CG , its a good one...

Parking at the Metro is free on weekends , use it , the ride is short , and you can go anywhere from there!! The trains are newer and very clean!.. The folks in the terminals were very willing to help out and answer any questions...
We like visiting the area.... and Cherry Hill is a nice place ,we stopped there the other week on our ay to Charlotte for 1 night..

Go to the FREE Zoo.. YES, I SAID FREE... You give whatever size donation you want to get in... take the train there and get off at the lower station , pretty walk to the lower portion of the zoo. Before you go in , there is a 7-11 across the street , go there and get a few drinks and hot dogs instead of getting them in the park..... Download the zoo's free app also...
