Lightbulb Leveling Aids? STOP STROKE OUT!

Curious if anyone has any creative ideas for front leveling jack aids? With safety and ease-of-use/storage in mind, I was thinking of using a couple of 10" lengths of treated 6x6's (deployed on their ends) with maybe rope handles on the sides? In our recent adventure when we boondocked (or dry camped) in a casino lot, it was pretty un-level. It would have been nice to prop the front jacks a little. Getting up in the night felt like I had been to frat party and had a little too much fun... The uneven floor was...interesting.

We really don't care for the plastic stackable ones, they seem "slick" to us, which would be a very unsafe proposition on an un-level lot. There's so many creative minds here, thought I would see what you might share.

I just use 2X12's cut into 12 inch long boards. I have not gotten around to adding handles They come in handy when on very uneven ground and you know you will run out of stroke! I just store them in the back of my truck.

I use 2 x 10 x 12 pcs I cut from treated lumber. I have 16 of them I keep in the back of the truck. Then I have 4pcs 8 x 6 pcs when needed. I to do not like the plastic ones.

I too have a few 2x10 pieces to use under the jacks when needed, generally only need a few inches to overcome the "Out of Stroke" message.

We carry 6 pieces of 4"x 6" x 8" long treated timbers left over from building deck posts. Leave them in bed of truck.

We just carry cement blocks. Put a couple under each leg as needed and a couple on the dish to keep it in place.

I know the plastic ones don't do well for full timers because of UV, but our orange stackables have served us well for 5 years as a part timer, and they all fit in a nice zipper bag.

I have the plastic also, light weight, easily stored & for those times that I'm worried about slipping I've cut several 8" x 8 " pieces of 1/2" stall mat placed on or under the plastic. That was the plus side of the auto level, unload all the lumber/blocks from the truck bed. Cement blocks, No Way!!

Oh no. I just place all of them, about 8 to 10, along the tailgate and pull them out as needed. Easy peasey!

Wow Steve! Those are BEEFY! Well, we could have used them last week in our casino parking lot... We were like drunken sailors walking around in the RW. Perhaps being fulltime we are TOO used to it being level and just couldn't adjust! LOL! Definitely was strange.

I use horse stall mats cut to the appropriate size. The do not slip. and don't give much. Won't slip, uv doesn't bother them, and easy to use.

We use those too. I actually pulled a couple out of my horse stalls before we left the farm and cut them up. We used four pads under our tires while we are parked long-term to prevent the concrete from leaching the tires, and then 6 pads under each jack, just thinking it might help prevent any slippage/noise whatever. They are SO HEAVY THOUGH! Much heavier than wood of the same dimensions, for sure. Economical tho, for less than $50, you can buy a 4x6 mat that can be cut into a useful number of pads. Then, we could stack those in a milk crate I suppose... Wow, that would be heavy for sure tho, but they would last forever, and certainly not react to degradation by weather/moisture! We thought they would be nice cut to fit in the bed of the truck. You simply can't hurt them.

I bought mine at a feed store as the quality of their mats far exceeded those at Tractor Supply. TS's price was somewhat less, but the rubber is a poorer quality.

2x12 treated cut in 11.5" squares. Have 2 - 3 high screwed together, 2 - 2 high screwed together and 4 single height. Store in back of truck.
Last year I crushed a set of the plastic ones.
