Lake Tawakoni State Park

Anyone having stayed at Lake Tawakoni State Park, near Wills Point, Tx, how was your experience? It looks to have easy access to the sites.

Very nice park...
IMHO, it's nicer than Mill Creek in Canton since Mill Creek has let things run down so much.... (but the wives still like to go to MC for First Monday -we will be there next Wed thru the following Tuesday - We met longhauler there a while back)

here's the official video -->

another one -->

and here's ours of the campground - NOT professionally done and during the winter - imagine trees are BLOOMING now:

We go quite often since it is near home. It's one of the newer state parks and it is well maintained. Several of the spots in the Spring Point loop have full hookups as well. The sites in this loop have less trees and are more open than the White Deer loop.
