Grand Canyon???

We have been doing the East coast and mid West for many years and very soon will head to Arizona. Grand Canyon is the destination and anyone have any insight on the must do's and also things to stay away from?
Now, for the trip out there it looks pretty easy but we have been used to the class A at 12' and we are now a bit over 13" so I wouldn't expect any issues but if anyone has info on were not to go that would be helpful.

The Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in Williams, Az. is a wonderful place to start exploring. Great Park, Level concrete pads, nice spacing for a Redwood. The Railroad is about 2 blocks away. This is a Passport America park $20 night max 7 nights.

Don't miss Sadona while you're out there too.

We stayed at the Grand Canyon Railway Park when we went to visit the Grand Canyon for the first time and took the train up to the park.
We loved it, had a great time on the train and the Grand Canyon Railway RV park was very nice.
Only problem with the Grand Canyon Railway CG is it backs up to the railway and they do run freight trains on there, so beware.

I second the tip to also visit Sedona, Az. We stayed at Trailer Village near Grand Canyon.

We also stayed at Trailer Village towards the end of September and there were Mule Deer and Elk all over the campground and wandering between sites. Then later in early Oct we met up with friends in Distant Drums RV and did Sedona and area.
