Vented or not vented

We just bought a 36FL a month ago, we did not get the washer/dryer combo and I am having second thoughts now. Someone I know is selling a brand new vented combo. My husband isn't home to ask so I figured my first question would be this. I have no clue if it should be vented or not
Thanks!!!
Char

Vented! The non-vented tries to condense the water out of the clothes and send it down the drain. The Vented model vents outside just like your dryer at home.

Vented is good. But you'll need to cut in a vent through the side of the coach 4"

Ihave had both types. They both wash exactly the same.
The non vented will leave a little wet, and uses a touch more water
Vented will dry completely, but make sure that you have proper clearance for vent hose hookup. My 39 mb did not.

I might just stick with a washer not the combo I heard it takes forever to dry anyway. I don't think he's comfortable cutting through our brand new unit lol....and he's a carpenter go figure

If by combo you mean wash and dry all in one unit, I don't recommend those at all. I had that unit in one of my other brands, and hated it. I have the 36 rl with the 2 side by side, vented units, and love them. FTR, the dryer is slower than at home, as it's a 110v unit, but it will still dry a load of clothes relatively fast.

yes I meant the all in one unit, the person is selling for 500.00 so it was kinda to good to pass up but my husband does not want to cut into the unit so I'll have to look for just the washer, the dryer is no biggie I have a rack

I like the non vented, even though no one else in my family does. There is a learing curve to promptly remove items and hang. Will dry in about 10-15 min. It is also friendly on delicates due to not having high heat.

The vented model works just like your home set, without having to transfer clothes

VENTED! I love love love our washer and dryer (Splendide Aristas) they do a fantastic job and make fulltiming MUCH more fun. The vent is easy to install, don't let that be a deterrent.

Good price, you have the option to not use the dryer. Besides after walking around racks, you might get that hole cut after all.

Would it void any warranty I heard redwood doesn't let you alter anything?

I love my set like yours. Mine are the Ariston. I come in from work and put a load on around 6pm, and it's washed and dried by about 9:30. The cool thing about these units, over the all in one unit, is no wrinkled clothes, and when I say wrinkled, I mean major wrinkled. That is a major drawback to the tiny, all in one unit, not to mention the lack of load size.

If you don't plan on drying, you probably don't need to cut a vent.

My dryer came from Redwood vented. Maybe they want to be the ones that cut the vent, dunno.

Thats awesome! Luckily I already had one of each, so I used the non vented.

My washer location is on the left wall about 5 foot back from nose.

We have a Maytag Washer and a Sears Dryer in our RW, tub is bigger than most 24" RV machines.
The Dryer is vented, dealer put in vent for us as a part of delivery.
Washer takes about a hour to complete cycle, dryer takes about a hour also to finish its drying cycle.
Bought both at a Sears Outlet, got a very good price on the pair and service from Sears is nationwide.
