Tv in bedroom shows no channels we do not have cable but I thought we could get at least a couple of channels. There is a plug with prongs don't know where to put it

Once the booster is "on" you'll have to go to the tv menu & set it to antenna & then from the menu scan the channels. Every time you relocate you will have to scan the channels whether using the antenna (booster on) or park cable (booster off). My living room tv has a signal meter in the set up menu & once scanned I use the meter to fine tune the antenna.
