Tire Recommendations

We have a 2015 38GK - it may be time to replace the Goodyear LT 235/85R/16 tires that came on it.

I've had people tell me I should change from a light truck tire to a trailer tire.

I'm sure there is an abundance of knowledge and experience out there.

I would either PM Ron ( Titan Guy ) ,or wait for him to respond to this... with the 38GK , and needing to replace the 4@ G614's.. I would jump up to his "H" rated package... just to replace 4 of the 614's will be close to $1200.00 - $1300.00 . .. I don't know jis prices off the top of my head , but it would be crazy not to do that upgrade now , when you have to replace 4

jhurst871: not sure who is telling you to down grade to a trailer tire, but they are wrong. A 16K trailer needs a light truck tire. In fact, as Ford Truck Guy stated, you really need to upgrade to an H rated, 17.5 inch tire and wheel.

The GY614s are trailer tires, printed on sidewall "RST". Don't know what tire you currently are running, but would definitely upgrade to the H rated from Titan Guy.
