Slide weatherstripping and sealer

Good morning all ! Hope everyone is well and doing ok.

I need to replace the top D bulb weather strips on the slide outs. I know this has been posted before, but I can’t find it in a search.

Can someone let me know the maker and part number for these and also what is the preferred sealer to use?

Many thanks !

I saved this info from a previous post. Have not used either so make sure on the "D" bulb deal that the measurements are correct. Also, many people have stated that only the Geocel caulk will hold.

Amazon: AP Product 018-312-EKD Seal.

Amazon: Geocel GC28100 clear.

Hope this helps

I'm going to have to do that in the near future. I did order some plastic razor blades off amazon with the idea I would need them to scrape off the old caulk. Not sure how well they will work but regular razor blades can cut into side wall if not careful. Let us all know how your project goes.

.I just changed all ours last weekend and used the items listed in Ricks post. To scrap off all the old old I put a pc of tape at the end of the metal scraper so not to scratch the paint. It was not a difficult job took about 4 hours to do all slides inside and out. I used 4 tubes of geocel to do the outside.

I used these plastic scrapers to remove old caulking when I replaced the vertical d bulb seals from the passenger side living room slide.

I have always use a not too sharp metal putty knife. I have one that is just right and isn't used on anything that could nick or burr the edge.
