Slide out issue on 2016 39MB

after I purchased my unit I noticed the fascia trim on street side and curb side appeared to be bowed out ( I could see a space between fascia trim and face of slide out.) on both ends. I got a stool so I could look down any it appears that someone( maybe PO) has installed some plywood spacers at the ends between the trim and what looks like a interior seal bar so that seal is flush with interior wall. There is not a spacer in the middle so the fascia trim is pushed out . Same for kitchen slide except only at one end ( this has damaged the vertical fascia trim from the stress ). This is my third fifth wheel ( kountry aire and a Carriage) and never seen this before. My gut tells me that rather than adjusting at the bottom , some one ( hope not Factory) just installed the spacers.. so my next question is how to adjust from under the slide. I don’t know exactly how the two brackets withe the bolts and slots work and don’t want to experiment nor break it down and haul it some where, I live in middle ga.

I think you can go to Lci website and find instructions for adjusting their hydraulic slide systems. I have done my kitchen slide with help from my son by be careful and adjust in small increments because whatever adjustment you make affect the inside and the outside. We used a floor Jack with a 2x4 support to take the weight off the brackets and rams to make the adjustment. Only do horizontal or vertical adjustment at one time, not both. I also found out that my brackets were bent and only had 1 volt holding the bracket onto the ram. They now make a longer bracket that take a 2 bolts which I ordered and replaced on that slide.
