Does the satellite prep option provide for a roof mounted dish or seeker dome? Or is it prepped with input from the side of the unit? Also, does the prep include dual cables?
Thanks for the help, hard to tell from the brochure and not sure I could find it on a inventory unit.

atom ant,

There are at least two cable connections on the roof for roof mounted SAT. There are also two SATconnections in service center for aportable dish.

If you want more drops make sure you order them when you purchase the coach. The wingard slimline has the capability of operating 4 TVs at once all on different channels as long as the cables are run to the locations you specify. We have a 36FL and have connections in the living room, kitchen, bedroom and the storage compartment (great for football weekends)

While preparing your order form, be sure to specify that you want at least two dedicated coax's (with no splitters) and a Winegard control cable installed to the roof and to your entertainment center.I know for a fact that Directv requires a minimum of -95dbm of signal power and therefore the need for dedicated runs.

Unfortunately I'm looking at an inventory unit that has the satellite prep as part of the Parks Package. Thats all I know about it. We have dish and our current rv has two cables from the roof dome to the LR reciever. was hoping to get something close to the same.

Does dish actually require both cables for the duo receiver? I never understood the TDishuses from the box and just hook them up with 1 cable.

Dish is more tolerant in the need for strong signals than Directv. For both you only need one coax to your antenna; however, if you have a HD DVR hooked up and want to record multiple shows at the same time, you'll need two two coax's.
