Reverse Osmosis System Installed

Sorry about the sideways pictures. They were straight up before I uploaded.
This system was purchased from Costco for about $200 and installed by our mobile repair guy. The brand is Premier RO-Pure Plus.
The tank is located in the center island where the bottom drawer was on the end opposite of the refrigerator. The drawer was dismantled and now the face of the drawer clamps in place to cover the opening. Looks just like the drawer was still there. The tank is secured with zip ties to the side wall and the filters are secured to the back wall. The tank will easily come out of the opening when it is time to change the filters. The filter connections tip to allow ease of removal and installation. All the filters are well labeled and color marked. We registered the unit with the manufacturer and they will notify us when it is time to change the filters, so I don't even have to track the time.
The tank holds 3 gallons of water and refills quite rapidly. We've used it now for our drinking water for over a month and have not run out with regular daily use. We had a system in our house and were delighted to discover that we would be able to continue to enjoy the healthy and great tasting water we were used to.

Nicely done! I wish I understood the system a little more.

How many drawers did you have to give up? Just the plate drawer?

Go read about it here: www.rvwaterfilterstore.com

All RO systems work basically the same. We put a full coach system in and use the freshwater tank as our holding tank.

We have a Kinetico system in our house and I was thinking about putting one in the RW, but I thought it would go in the underbelly not drawer next to the sink. Does anyone have a Kinetico system in their RW? Thanks!

Only the larger bottom drawer was used for the installation.

I was looking at their website, not sure they are much different than any other RO system out there. Basically you have 2-4 prefilters that take out sediment and taste (carbon does this one) then that cleaned water passes through one or more .5 micron RO membranes to produce clean water along with the waste or brine water. The clean water goes into your holding tank and the brine goes into your gray water tank or directly into your sewer hose as mine does so as to not fill our gray tanks.
