Question for those of you with the 'rotating' table

When stored 'long ways', as in the second pic below,
it makes for a tight fit to sit at it for those of us
that have "partaken of the suds"

So we like to rotate it so it is perpendicular to the rv, with the long side pointing toward the island...

Is yours difficult to rotate ? or am I just a doofus and can't twist and unlock at the same time

Will lubing it help? if so, with what ?

And finally, thinking it can be stored that way for travel without hitting the island on a 38gk?

Thanks in advance !

Ours is very easy. Just pull down on the knob, pull the table out away from the wall and then turn.

Same here. And we normally have ours perpendicular. Clears the island fine.

We also have the same table in our 36rl. It used to be very hard to pull the Tee handle down to slide and rotate the table. Found a hard rubber/ plastic tip on the floor one time and assumed it came off of the shaft connected to the Tee. Must have been there for vibration and a snug fit. since it's not there anymore table is a breeze to change around. Our plastic tip was all chewed up so I never tried to reinstall it. Chris

See - maybe I was trying to force a round pep into a square hole !
thanks for the pointers....
so release the pin,
pull out as far as you can THEN turn...

will give it a try... and then leave it there
