Modified air chuck for Trailair kingpin

A friend of mine modified his Flex Air hitch to make it easier to air up/down from outside the truck. I did mine a bit different as I have a dually and wanted to reach the air chuck

I used 1/4 galvanized steel pipe and added a Husky air gauge. Also, I used double faced automotive tape to secure 1/4 trim wood, then pipe straps to secure the pipe. This avoided drilling into the pin box.

Great idea. That certainly would make it a lot easier to access.

How do you like the new Flex Air Trail-Air pin box?

Guy,
Yea, I tried to air up at a truck stop and couldn't get the long air chuck on due to the overhang of the cap.

Big improvement over the rotoflex!

That is neat, sure makes it a lot easier to get to.
I usually check / inflate before hitching up since it is such a PITA to get to when hitched up.
