Installed Steady Fast Stablizers

I can feel my wife moving around in the bedroom when I am watching TV in our Front Living Room and when the Washer / Dryer is running you had better put on your seat belts

I decided to order and install he Steady Fast stabilizer system on our Redwood to see if I could minimize / eliminate the movement / shake.

After installing the Steady Fast system, we have no movement when we are moving about anywhere in the coach and when the Washer / Dryer is running there is very minimal movement, we are very happy with the installation results.

The Steady Fast product is a very well made product, good installation instructions and great communication with the company.

Looks nice! What was your total out of pocket for the set-up? I assume you installed it yourself.

Yep, installed myself, other than drilling the frame for the brackets, the install is pretty easy.

Out of pocket cost approx. $280

The pics do not show how you stabilize the rod from moving once it is set up. It looks like the rod just moves in and out when the level up system is moved up or down but what actually stops it once you are set up?

It appears those rods have some sort of lock bolt?

My wife has a tendency to bounce her leg when sitting at the table. Feels like I am in an Earthquake. I may have to invest in this as it is a relatively cheap fix for something that is somewhat irritable.

On the right side picture, you can see a silver hand knob at the frame mount.
Once the landing system is setup and level, you tighten down the knob to clamp the round bar in place.
Tighten all three up and the coach is rock solid.
You can go to the Steady Fast website for more pictures.

I really like mine to, don't forget to loosen them before lifting the leveling system.

Do you need to tighten them for travel?

On my old JTs, you would tighten the knobs for travel just to keep them from vibrating out and falling off. Just like the old awning knobs.

I watched the install video and there is a jam nut installed so the wing nut doesn't spin off when loose
I ordered a set and will be here tommorrow
Let you know if they work

I will lightly tighten for travel but you are right there is a jam nut so they will not fall off.
Pretty well thought out system.

I bought mine direct from the Manufacturer in CA, they have free shipping and great communication.

www.steadyfast.com

Amazon and other sites carry them too.

Both front legs are plumbed together, so you cannot lift just one leg.
