Just thought I'd let folks know about a problem I had so it can be avoided for others.

Only a few hundred miles after delivery, I noticed water slowly dripping at the bottom of the kitchen slide. At first I dismissed it as condensation from the fridge (it's my first time with a large Dometic), but soon concluded it was too much, so I removed the lower vent panel (outside) to take a look.

Sure enough, the ice-maker water-supply line had a puncture/cut in it, quite tiny but more than enough under city-water pressure to spray all over the compartment. I'm pretty sure it was created through chafing against the vent panel itself while driving.

I cut the line at the puncture and put it back together using a coupler, then tied it loosely to a propane line so it wouldn't contact the vent panel anymore. So far so good, despite many miles on pretty rough Louisiana roads over the Holidays.

Hope this helps someone avoid the problem!

Interesting. First day with our 36RL, found a pin hole in the water line to the ice maker directly under the kitchen island. We love the coach and have lived in it since early Oct, but the hole and several other small items make me believe the QC prior to the coach leaving the factory was lacking or rushed.

Regards,
