Front Living Slides Light Switch Wiring

When we open our FL's Front Living area Slides, the light switch wiring comes out on the floor under the slide.
I have been just poking the wiring back under the slide edge.
The last time I brought the front slides in I looked under them to see what held the light switch wiring.
I found the plastic arm / loom that holds the wiring is broken on both slides.
If there a fix / corrective action for these since is seems just replacing the plastic arm will just break again.
Any FL owners have this issue or are they just installed wrong on ours?

do you have a pic where it broke?

Keystone had terrible looms holders and the hinge would crack and break within the first year. The fix was a door hinge, but I think these already have a good hinge system.

Well I took the front panels off both our front slides today and repaired the wire looms.
Everything worked out well but for a $120,000 coach this type of quality / workmanship is not acceptable.

Factory install on the Right Side, bracket was not located correctly and ran into wall.

Left side same problem as the right side, bracket mounted wrong and ran into the wall.

Slide in Open Position
I relocated the bracket to the correct location, installed a small hinge in plastic loom where it broke in half.

Slide in closed position, wire loom works smooth and wiring is not dragging the floor.

Great fix Bob! I guess I didn't understand where you were taking pics of the first time, but I think I can tell now - up in the living room.

Ya -I hate rebuilding these things.

Rob - On our slide opposite the entertainment centre we had the same problem. The front cover came off and the angle bracket had never been attached, just lying loose under the slide floor.

Having our dealer repair.

All in a days work, the brackets with pivot post were mounted wrong on both slides, when the slides were opened the brackets hit the wall and just about tore them off (as shown in the pictures).

Then on the door side slide they mounted the wire loom to too far forward.
The front support frame tubing extends about 1/2 way under the front slides. This creates a nice pocket towards the rear of the area under the slides for the wire loom to collapse in when the slide is open.
(The distance between the lower front carpeted panel and the front frame tube is less than 1/2 inch)
They mounted the wire loom about 4 inches too far forward and it got crushed between the slide floor valance panel and the frame tubing.
When I remounted it I moved it back to the pocket area behind the frame tubing.
(See picture below)

Also I anchored the receptacle in the kitchen wall behind the sink, it had no support at all and seemed like you were going to break something when plugging or unplugging from it. It is rock solid now.

To All

Just got home after a trip to Virginia and Tennessee. As I was opening the slide on the trip I saw some wires sliding out and when slide was almost open it was pushing the vertical trim away from the wall. I stopped and went into repair mode. After removing the front lower trim board with carpet, found the black plastic wire loom was broken in half and the bracket was bent causing loom to slip down post and jam. Removed bent bracket and loom and observed the wires as slide was brought to store position. Made trip home with no additional problems.

Went to Lowes and purchased 6 feet of round split loom 1 inch diameter and 4 conduit plastic support brackets. I will put the wires in round loom and install brackets near the original mountings. I am sure this will work better than the original loom. As I read the above post I can see the original installed loom is a destined to fail.

I did not look to see how to get to the loom on the door side. How hard is it to remove the bottom cabinet trim? Any advice will be well received.

I will take some pictures after I finish my fix. Thanks for the pictures provided in the previous post.
