Electrical outlet issue on 2013 36 RL

I do not have power to my bedroom dresser outlet. Also no power to the ceiling outlet to the left of bedroom and no power to an outlet in the closet near the entry door. Bathroom outlet is GFI and works and the bedroom TV outlet works. Could those three be tied to another GFI and if so where might it be located? I have also checked the breakers several times and all appear to be OK.

Any thoughts. Thanks

Rick

Check that. The Bedroom TV also does not work.

Rick, are the circuit breakers labeled indicating what is on each circuit? I do not have a 36RL but it sounds to me like someone failed to connect all the wires on that circuit. That's if all those go on the same circuit. I don't think you have another GFCI controlling those. If you can find out if those outlets not working are the only ones on the same circuit I would suspect a bad circuit breaker or wire not connected to circuit breaker. I'm not an electrician but I thought I would give you my 2 cents worth.

I would check the outlet in "Dad's Tool Box" and the one in the convenience center. Not sure if either is a GFI, but won't cost anything to look.

The bathroom gfci will control the bathroom receptacle, the receptacles on the island and any outside receptacles. Start from the beginning: Turn off and then on all circuit breakers. Recheck the receptacles that don't have power. If I had to guess, the receptacle closest to the panel is your problem. Remove the receptacle and look at the wires on the back to make sure they are connected properly. Then, if that doesn't work, look at the wires on the circuit breakers as previously mentioned.

Looks like I got it. Rechecked circuit breakers and one was not seated properly. Pushed on it to make sure it was well inserted and all of the outlets now work.

Thanks for the quick responses.
