Disk Brakes

If anyone wants to see what Redwood uses for disk brakes, here is a couple of pics. Looks like a Kodiak system.

The 8k axle may be different but on the 7k axle 9/16" studs, Redwood has 5 studs coming thru the axle bracket which should attach to the disc brake bracket. On Kodiak's 7k axle bracket you must use a spacer placed between the axle bracket and the disc brake bracket. The problem is the stud is not long enough to accommodate the spacer without removing the studs and replacing with grade 5 bolt & nut. The Kodiak bracket works fine on 1/2" stud 7k axle. Appears Redwood has both 9/16" & 1/2".

Should I be using a higher lug torque than 110 ft lbs?

110 seems low. The studs on my truck are the same size and GMC says 140#.
